TRUSTEE at IEEE ICC 2025!

We’re proud to see our work featured at the IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC) 2025 in Montréal!
Assistant Professor Evangelos Markakis, Principal Investigator of Pasiphae Lab, presented the TRUSTEE project’s latest research on:
“A Privacy-Preserving and Efficient Driver Recognition Framework for Sustainable ITS using DRL and FL”
This innovative work, part of the EU-funded TRUSTEE project, advances our mission to build secure, privacy-respecting data infrastructures for cross-border data sharing in Europe.
The proposed framework integrates Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) and Federated Learning (FL) to support intelligent transportation systems (ITS) that:
🔹Preserve user privacy at the edge
🔹Recognize driving behavior across vehicle types
🔹Promote sustainability through smarter data and resource usage
A big thank you to our partners and researchers who are pushing the boundaries of trusted data ecosystems!
